"Out of my hands into yours"
Each piece of my work is individually handcrafted and glazed utilizing a palette of colors inspired by my love for the Rocky Mountain West and Yellowstone National Park. I enjoy creating functional pottery in stoneware and porcelain for daily use in the home and kitchen as well as creating one-of-a-kind items which feature bison, bear and other wildlife imagery. My glaze palette is an impressionistic mountain motif rendered in Sky Blue, Red Skies, Turquoise River, and Moon Over Montana Obsidian Black. Each piece is gas-fired in my hand built kiln located at my studio near Bozeman, Montana. All of my pottery is food safe, dishwasher and microwave safe.
Currently , my work is available at my FIRE HOLE POTTERY GALLERY, 4069 Linney Road, Bozeman, Montana (not far from the airport). Call ahead at 406-388-1943 or email: fireholepottery@gmail.com.

A professional ceramicist and a graduate of Montana State University, since 1980, I have been the resident/visiting potter at Yellowstone National Park . Presently, I maintain a studio and gallery at my home West of Bozeman, Montana in the majestic Gallatin Valley.
This staged photo was taken in front Old Faithful Geyser as I was leaving at the end of one of my early summer residencies.
